Great coach in the room
The guys loved him even though the toughest words they could hear any morning was "your with Frank today." He worked the hell out of them. When he left, as sudden as it was, lots of the guys went over and helped him and his wife pack. A very nice family.
Reading between the lines of his interview (attached), it sounds like his decision was made when the Olympics were postponed. He was obviously stretching out his career and holding off the next phase of his life for one more shot. Adding another year probably was too much with a family to take care of. I expect to see him coaching again soon. Good luck Frank!
